CAC-1000 Plus Tab: Calcium lactate-gluconate 1 gm, calcium carbonate 327 mg (260 mg Ca++), vit C 500 mg, D3 4 mg, B6 10 mg. CAC-1000 Syp: Calcium glubionate 1.437 gm, calcium lactobionate 0.295 gm, sugar 1.512 gm. Risk Factor Contraindications: Hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria, severe renal failure, renal calculi, galactosaemia. Precautions: In renal impairment, electrolyte imbalance, use syrup in preference to tab. Monitor blood and urinary calcium levels.
Indications Inj: Hypocalcaemia (causing tetany and related neuromuscular disorders), chronic calcium deficiency, rickets, osteomalacia and osteoporosis, adjuvant therapy for exudative processes in the skin, adjunct in the treatment of severe hyperkalaemia, lead poisoning, fluoride poisoning. Syp/Tab: Increased calcium demand e.g. in growing children, pregnancy and lactation, latent tetany, rickets and osteomalacia (additional to specific therapy), prevention of pre- and postmenopausal bone demineralization, osteoporosis, allergic conditions
