Famila 28F Tablets Indications

Famila 28F Tablets is primarily indicated in conditions like Breast cancer, Breast cancer (unlicensed indication), Dysfunctional uterine bleeding, Gonadal dysgenesis, Heriditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia, Hormone replacement for menopausal symptoms, Hormone replacement therapy, Menopausal symptoms, Destrogen deficiency, Osteoporosis prophylaxis, Pre-ovulatory mucus, Prostatic cancer, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Acne, Contraception, Endometriosis, Hirsutism, Menstruation disorders.

Contraindication

Famila 28F Tablets is contraindicated in conditions like Thromboembolism, Genital bleeding, Jaundice, Thrombophlebitis,Cerebrovas cular disease, Hepatic carcinoma,Coronary artery disease, Estrogen-dependent cancer, Untreated endometriosis.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Famila 28F Tablets, which give rise to further complications include Impotence, Loss of libido, Gynacomastia, Chloasma, MI.Famila 28F Tablets produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Pulmonary embolism, Hypertension, Venous thromboembolism, Endometrial carcinoma, Endometrial hyperplasia, Cerebral thrombosis, Gall bladder disease, Liver tumors, Breast carcinomag Venous thromboembolism, Coronary thrombosis. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Famila 28F Tablets therapy. The signs and Symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Famila 28F Tablets include Nausea, Vomiting, Coronary thrombosis, Uterine withdrawal bleeding. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Famila 28F Tablets are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Nausea, vomiting, Weight gain, Fluid retention, Intermenstrual bleeding or spotting, Chloasma, Cholestatic Jaundice, Vaginal candidiasis, dizziness.

Warnings

High doses of Famila 28F Tablets used in treatment of malignant disease should be used with caution in patients with cerebrovascular disorder, coronary artery disease or venous thromboembolism. It should be used with caution in children, because premature closure of epiphysis may occur resulting in inhibited linear growth and small stature.
