Zametasone Lotion 20ml Indications

Zametasone Lotion 20ml is primarily indicated in conditions like Atopic eczema, Contact dermatitis, Psoriasis, Scalp psoriasis, Seasonal allergic rhinitis, Seborrheic dermatitis.

Contraindication

Zametasone Lotion 20ml is contraindicated in conditions like Acne vulgaris,Perioral dermatiti s, Syphilis, Tuberculosis, Hypersensitivity,Facial rosacea, Varicella, Post-vaccine reaction, Perianal and genital pruritis, Gravitational ulceration.

Side Effects

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Zametasone Lotion 20ml, which give rise to further complications include Telangiectasia, Strias, Skin atrophy, Decrease synthesis of collagen in dermis. Zametasone Lotion 20ml produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Cushing’s syndrome. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Zametasone Lotion 20ml therapy. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Zametasone Lotion 20ml are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Pruritus, Erythema, Burning, Allergic contact dermatitis, Tingling, Folliculitis, Acne, Paresthesias. Hypopigmentation Skin atrophy.

Warnings

It should be used with caution in patients with untreated fungal, bacterial or systemic viral infections. Children may be at increase risk of some adverse effects, prolonged use is rarely justified. Avoid use during pregnancy.
